Secondary Complex Fall Sports Picture Orders - If you want to order sports pictures there are order forms in front of the High School office and in the Middle School office. When order forms are completed they can be dropped off with Kim Johnson (6th grade) or Jody Johnson (High School). The orders will be given to Bob at Image. There is information on the packets about ordering on-line also. Be sure to put your uniform number and team on the order form. It’s going to be another hot and humid day tomorrow, and our classrooms are becoming a bit hot and stuffy. Please be mindful of what your children wear to school tomorrow and encourage them to wear short sleeves and light clothing to help avoid overheating.

RED LAKE ELEMENTARY COMPLEX FAMILIES: Starting TODAY, Monday, Sept. 16th, the student day at Red Lake Elementary Complex will be changing. On Mondays, students will attend school from 9:50 AM - 3:00 PM and on Tuesdays through Fridays, students will attend from 7:50 AM - 3:00 PM. Student drop-off will remain 9:45 AM on Mondays and 7:45 AM Tuesdays through Fridays. Students will be dismissed to the buses at 3:00 PM, so parent pick-up will be from 3:00 - 3:15 PM at Door #6. All Red Lake Elementary and Secondary students who ride the bus will likely be arriving home 20 - 30 minutes earlier than they have so far this school year.

You may have heard some rumors about possible threats to a school in Red Lake tomorrow (Friday). The threats have been investigated by Red Lake Police and found to be not credible. However, because we value the safety and peace of mind of our students and staff, we will maintain a higher state of awareness tomorrow. You may notice more of a presence of law enforcement in our buildings on Friday. Miigwech!

Tomorrow is our first Late Start Monday of the year. School will begin at 10 AM. Buses will be two hours later than their usual time. Students may be dropped off anytime after 9:45 at Red Lake Elementary and Secondary, and anytime after 9:40 AM in Ponemah. See you in the morning!


The first day of school is right around the corner! The first day back for students will be TUESDAY, September 3rd. We can't wait to welcome you back!
