As the countdown to graduation is on, we are celebrating our graduating senior Class of 2023!
Meet graduating senior Adrianna Cruz-Bautista. Her future plans include attending Northwest Technical College to pursue dental career. Her advice for younger students: "Go to school and get good grades. Be nice to the teachers and people around you!"

The Unified Soccer Tournament took place in West Saint Paul today, and the Red Lake team took home 4th place! Congratulations!!
All secondary complex students: be sure to return ALL of your library books! We have lots of books that need to find their way back to the library shelves.
Check in your backpacks, under beds, in your family's car, or even in the back of the closet to see where they may be hiding!

School Bus Safety Tip!

Due to the current and expected weather Red Lake School District will have a 2-hour late start tomorrow, Friday, April 21st. Both School and Busses will be running two hours late tomorrow morning. To all of our families - please be safe on these snowy roads!
Due to weather, all after school activities for Thursday, April 20th, have been cancelled.
The Parent Attendance Intervention meeting at Red Lake Elementary Complex this evening is also postponed.
Spring Sports Photos at the secondary complex have been rescheduled for Wednesday, 4/18, after school by the high school gym.
Due to a lack of water pressure at RLEC, both RLEC and Secondary Complex will be releasing students early today. Red Lake Elementary Complex will release students at 1:00pm, and Red Lake Secondary Complex will be releasing at 1:15pm. Ponemah School will continue with the regular school day. Miigwech!
1. Due to the weather last week, Day 2 of Senior Pictures has been rescheduled for April 18th!! Bob will be here to take pictures all day. Jody will start a new signup sheet next week on Monday. You can send Jody a message on Teams to schedule a time or Ishe will swing into a couple classrooms again to get people signed up. Let her know if you have questions. IF you had pictures taken someplace else don't forget to send her one at jodyj@redlake.k12.mn.us or drop a copy off and I will scan it.
2. SPRING SPORTS PICTURES!! We will be doing Baseball, Softball and Golf pictures next week on Tuesday the 18th after school by the high school gym. Packets will be handed out next Monday or will be available on the table in front of the high school office. Orders can also be places online with Image.
Due to current road conditions, busses will not be going down sideroads until further notice.

Red Lake School District will have a 2 hour late start on Thursday, April 6th, to allow time for plows to finish cleaning everything up. However, there is the potential for an e-learning day if the roads are still too difficult to navigate by bus. Please plan for a 2 hour late start, and the district will keep you updated if there are any further changes. Miigwech!
This is a reminder that today, Wednesday, April 5, is an E-Learning day for the Red Lake Independent School District. There will not be in-person school today.

Red Lake School District will be closing early Tuesday, April 4, 2023 due to impending weather. Red Lake Elementary Complex will dismiss at 1:15, and Red Lake Secondary Complex and Ponemah School will dismiss at 1:30. All after school programming is cancelled today and tomorrow.
The decision has also been made to make Wednesday, April 5th an E-Learning day across the district.
