Chi miigwech to Starbase Minnesota for providing us with science kits!
The MN legislature funded through MN Department of Education, STARBASE Minnesota is able to provide our school’s entire 5th grade with STARBASE Minnesota “Destination Mars” STEM kit curriculum — free of charge— due to the generosity of their funders.
STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) class
Students design, build, and program robots!

The students are learning about our 4 Sacred Mashkikiwan=Medicines (Asemaa=tobacco, giizhik=cedar, wiingashk=sweet grass, bashkodejiibik=sage) along with making themselves a medicine pouch/bag. The students really enjoy learning more about their Culture and Sacred items!
Not only can you meet our amazing teachers today at Kindergarten Round-Up, you can also meet the EASTER BUNNY!!!!!
2nd day of Kindergarten Round-Up is about to begin!! If you have a child starting Kindergarten for the '22-'23 school year, be sure to come to RLES between 9am and 2pm TODAY, April 14th, to learn everything you need to know about starting school! Lunch will be provided.
