Hand-delivered to students on Friday, November 5 - Quarter 1 campfire inspired perfect attendance family gift bags. It includes:
1 campfire stories book to share together as a family.
1 flashlight to tell campfire stories with
5 chewy smores bars to enjoy while reading your campfire stories
1 Magic Flames packet MUST BE USED WITH ADULT SUPERVISION. Put it on a campfire and watch it change colors.

We will be cancelling after school programs today so that staff can have the evening time to vote if they so desire.

Have a safe Halloween! Just a reminder - the candy and other treats need to stay at home. Miigwech for helping us out with that. See you at 10 AM tomorrow.
Tons of Friday fun with the Halloween Bash. We had activities in the classroom and walk around the school to trick or treat.
Students made a Skeleton out of Q-Tips and they got to write about them!
Lots of jokes told when creating these and my personal favorite, what do skeletons order at restaurants? Spare ribs!

Bus 4 left RLEC at 4:00 PM; expect up to 45 minutes late. We expect the same tomorrow - heads up if you prefer to do parent pick tomorrow to contact the school prior to 2:00 PM.
Targeted Services for grades 3-5 have themes. This is the Archery group. They focus on mathematics and P.E..
Students each got to pick out a pumpkin and put their investigating skills to the test! 6.2 pounds was our heaviest pumpkin from today!

RLEC Targeted Services Bemidji bus may be up to 15 minutes late tonight.
Bus 3 - • the students that are on bus # 3 across the river on hwy 1 are going to have to wait for a bus to return. We expect students to leave around 4 PM, approximately 45 minutes late.

Families - We had a late arrival of school pictures . May be waiting on one more boxes of pictures. Some were sent home on Friday. Please feel free to call the school at 679-3329 to verify your pictures are their and feel free to come pick them up this week.
