The Warriors Elementary Robotics Team participated in the annual Thief River Falls VEX IQ Robotics Tournament this past Saturday. The Warriors braved the weather and came home with some hardware. Team Makwa finished in 6th place overall and 2nd in the Elementary Division. Team Saabe finished 7th overall and 3rd in the Elementary Division. Team Saabe also took home the Judges Award for showing perseverance, knowledge of the game, and teamwork. Team Ma’iingan did not make the Finals Round, but did win the Consolation Round. The Warriors Elementary Robotics Team will be looking to continue their success this weekend in East Grand Forks, at the EGF VEXIQ Tournament.



Starting January 22, all end-of-day changes need to be communicated by 1:30 pm; call 218-679-3329. As of 2:50 pm, we are unable to communicate last-minute changes; students will follow their regular plan for end of day.
For all other times, security at Door 6 will contact classroom when you arrive; be prepared to wait.

Last week, our third graders had the opportunity to go to the movies!

The RLEC Archery Team is hard at work practicing for their upcoming competition next week!



Save the date! A Family Event will be held on February 1st, 2024 from 3:30-7:00pm. This will be a regular school day for students, with busses leaving as normal at 3:15pm. Meal will be served from 3:30-6:30pm. Join us for lots of fun activities, including an Art Walk, Community Photos, and more! We will see you there!

Ms. Nordstrom's kindergarten class went on a Math Elf Hunt! Their job was to match the elves to their matching numbers.
