Boozhoo! This is a weather related announcement for Red Lake School District. Due to extreme cold weather conditions, temperatures below freezing, and the chance of frostbite in seconds, all classes and school activities are canceled for today, Tuesday, January 21st. The safety and well-being of our students and staff are our top priority. Please stay warm today! Miigwech!

Due to very cold temperatures and wind chill factors, Red Lake Schools and buses will run two hours late tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21st.

Reminder: there is no school on Monday, January 20th. Enjoy the long weekend and we will see you back at school on Tuesday!

All Red Lake Schools will be participating in a Lockdown drill on Thursday, January 9, 2025.


Save the Date: Red Lake Secondary Conferences will be taking place on February 20th from 3:30pm-7:22pm. Check and Connect Family Night will be happening that same evening. Miigwech!

Our Red lake Elementary Students are excelling in Ojibwe, thanks to Serena Daniels-Graves. She is helping these fourth and fifth graders have a deeper love for the language.

All Red Lake Schools will be closed today due to heating issues at the Secondary Complex. Activities and practices are canceled.

Due to the wind and cooling temperatures, ALL after school activities will be cancelled today 12/9/24. Miigwech!

Red Lake School Administration is monitoring the weather and road conditions for tomorrow morning (Monday, December 9th). Since tomorrow is a Monday, students already start two hours later than other school days. During this time, we will determine whether or not to cancel school. An Announcement will be made if we cancel school. Miigwech!

Due to weather conditions, all after school activities, targeted services and girl scouts district wide will be cancelled today, Wednesday, December 4th. Miigwech!
