Dear Red Lake School Families...

For all Red Lake Schools families currently being provided internet, we want to give notice that the program will be ending June 1st. If you have a student or students enrolled in Summer school, the district provided internet will not end until June 30th. However, you have a great opportunity offered by the federal government to sign up for, if eligible. This program is called The Emergency Broadband Benefit program which began May 12, 2021.

The Emergency Broadband Benefit program is a government program that will provide a discount of up to $50 per month towards broadband service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for eligible households on Tribal lands. The Emergency Broadband benefit is limited to one monthly service discount per household.  This program will be available until the funds in the program are depleted, or six months after the Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary declares the end of the COVID-19 health emergency.

If you are interested in participating, you will need to go through the application process by visiting the following website:  https://getemergencybroadband.org/
