Happy First Day of School!!
We are looking forward to seeing your child for the 2022 – 2023 school year. To start the school year, we will have a progressive start for students in grade K-2 to help them transition into school and develop tools to be confident learners. Our Kindergarten students will be participating in the Begindergarten program, Grade 1 students will be a part of 1st Things First, and Grade 2 students will partake in Step into 2nd.
Listed below is specific information pertaining to the K-2 school community:
| Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 Student Schedule The first letter of your child’s last name will determine the days your child is scheduled to attend school during Begindergarten, 1st Things First, and Step into 2nd. Grades K-2: Last names beginning with A – J: September 6, 7, 13, 14 Grades K-2: Last names beginning with K – Z: September 8, 9, 15, 16 September 12 – No school for K-2 students – Meet Your Teacher Night (Grades K-2) 3:45 PM – 6:45 PM. Please plan to attend. September 19 – All K-2 students attend school full-time for the remainder of the school year. |
We are so excited for the school year! On September 1, Red Lake Elementary Complex will be having our Open House from 11:00 PM – 6:45 PM. Please plan to attend. We will have dinner available.
On September 12, there will be no school for students in Grades K-2 to allow staff time to review Begindergarten, 1st Things First, and Step into 2nd programming to support moving in the right direction for our students. From 3:45 PM – 6:45 PM on September 12, we will be hosting our Meet Your Teacher Night for Grades K-2. During Meet Your Teacher Night, we will have grab bags and light snacks available. We hope to see you there!
