We will be extending Begindergarten through the end of the 1st quarter to continue to provide small group learning opportunities for students to build foundation skills to promote academic success and help mitigate the learning loss of the past year. The more individualize approach allows for teachers to focus on your child’s personal, social, and intellectual development.
Listed below is specific information pertaining to the Kindergarten school community:
| Kindergarten We will continue Begindergarten through the end of the Quarter 1. The first initial of your child’s last name will determine the days that your child is scheduled to attend school during Begindergarten. Last names beginning with A – J: October 4, 5, 11, 12, 13, 25, 26 & November 1, 2, 3 Last names beginning with K – Z: October 6, 7, 8, 14, 15, 27, 28, 29 & November 4, 5 November 8 – All Kindergarten students attend school full-time for the remainder of the school year. |
We are excited to have the district’s support to maintain the Begindergarten format through the end of the 1st quarter. This gentle start to school allows students to became acquainted with expectations and develop tools to be confident learners. It also assists with supporting student safety during these unprecedented times.
