On Friday, RLMS Summer School Students had the opportunity to go on a field trip to Itasca State Park! They were able to enjoy the beautiful weather, kayak on the water, go for a boat ride, and walk across the Mississippi Headwaters.

Grade 9-12 RLHS Students: Today is the last day to register for summer school, until 2pm in the Secondary Complex Cafeteria. You MUST have a parent/legal guardian present for registration.

RLMS Students had a great first day of summer school! There is still time to register if your student would like to attend.

On May 21, RLEC will be having their Kindergarten Graduation in the RLEC PK-2 Gym. Families are welcome to enter in through Door 6 for the event. Please see attached image for the graduation times for each classroom.

Attention 8th grade students at RLMS: The 8th grade field trip is still on tomorrow (May 21st) rain or shine. Please have the students be at the school at 7:30 and bring extra clothing. Students are more than welcome to bring snacks, and lunch will be provided. Miigwech!

Royalty for Red Lake Nation and Red Lake Schools The Red Lake High School Class of 2024 invite you to participate in their Commencement Ceremony on Thursday May 23, 2024 @ 4:00 pm in the RLHS gymnasium. Unified Champion School Highlight: If you are interested in joining, please let us know. We have many opportunities for you to try. Unified Robotics, Basketball, Soccer, Leadership, Bowling.

Unified Champion School Highlight: Other events that we have we went to is the Leadership Summit, a Bocce Ball Invitational, and we hosted a kickball game.

Unified Champion School Highlight: Students participated in a bowling invitational, and we also joined a bowling league that took 4th this year.

Unified Champion School - We played in the Unified Soccer Tournament last year and placed 4th!! This year we started a Unified Robotics Team.

For the last two years we have been busy working on becoming a Unified Champion School. We have three areas that we are working on, Sports, Leadership and Whole School inclusion. Last year we participated in the Indigenous Games and Unified Basketball.

2024 School Board Election Red Lake School District #38 Notice of Filing for Candidacy Red Lake School District has three (3) school board positions the expire on December 31, 2024. The filing period for candidacy is May 21, 2024 – June 4, 2024. The filing period closes at 5 p.m. on June 4, 2024. Candidates may pick up candidacy filing documents in the district office or go to the district website (www.redlake.k12.mn.us) for electronic materials. The filing fee is $2 and must be paid at the time the affidavit of candidacy is filed in the District Office.
