When the Children thrive, the Nation Thrives
The School Board of Red Lake Schools is conducting a search for a new superintendent. The School Board contracted with the Minnesota School Boards Association (MSBA) to guide and provide assistance throughout the process.
The School Board met on March 31, 2022 to plan the search. An important part of the search process is gathering stakeholder input for the Board to consider as it moves forward in selecting the new superintendent for Red Lake, and here are two ways you can engage in the search process:
- SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH SURVEY
- VIRTUAL QUESTION/ANSWER SESSION WITH MSBA
An anonymous public survey is now available for all stakeholders to fill out between April 4, 2022 to April 17, 2022. Click here: Red Lake Superintendent Search Survey to complete the Red Lake Schools Superintendent Search Survey. Hard copies of the survey are also available at the district office.
Following the survey deadline of April 17, MSBA will summarize and provide an overview of the responses for presentation to the School Board.
To ensure all district stakeholders have access to accurate information regarding search processes and expectations, MSBA will host a virtual Q & A with MSBA session at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, April 13. The Zoom link will be posted that day on the district website. All stakeholders are invited to attend the live session; however, to accommodate busy schedules as well as ensure access and transparency, the session will also be recorded and made available on the district website for the remainder of the search.
Questions about the search process can be submitted anonymously in advance by clicking here: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=MC-GEtxV90ygsv6PyKln186b92u9mnREjWwTT023X0tUQ0tRN1ZaWFI2Nk1DTDJGWlBQSUZJQTBYVi4u Deadline for submittal of advance questions is Wednesday, April 13 at noon. Questions may also be submitted anonymously during the session using the chat box.
